Figure Studies
Departing from literal representation, these works distill the essence of the figure into abstract forms. The human figure serves as a point of departure rather than a subject to be faithfully reproduced. I play with distortion, fragmentation, and exaggeration to convey the inner landscape of the human psyche or to evoke specific emotions and sensations. The artworks inspired by the human form capture the energy, movement, and complexity of human existence. These works may challenge conventional notions of beauty, inviting viewers to reconsider their preconceptions and embrace the inherent diversity and complexity of the human experience.
